NE Indiana | I think they are required to teach evolution as part of the curriculum, at least as a theory. I don't know if there are any private schools available in your area, but I would recommend looking into them if you feel the way you do. We started looking into schools when our oldest was about 3, and it took awhile to make our decision. After we signed up our daughter for kindergarten, my brother switched his kids from a public school, grades, K, 4, 5, and he said the difference is "night and day".
