NEIN | Higher being, meaning a God. A belief in evolution doesnt mean you cant believe in God.The bible was written in a time when church and state were not seperated, are you so naive as to think those in power,the clergy, didnt have a bent towards what would benifit them. And remember the Bible as we know it was translated by clergy with a subjective intent. What I am saying is if you look beyond your simplistic literal interpetation of the Bible you will see a book of wisdom written in Fable style, not to be taken literally. The more educated a person becomes the more you will realize that life is just that,life. An evoloving, changing collection of great beauty. Did a God start it?, probably so, or at least I like to think so. Would he be so cruel as to say to some at the end of your life you go to hell and you dont based on a million factors beyond a persons control, I also like to think not. Universal salvation is really the only thing that makes sense, when you really think about it. | |
