| Mrs Seabee here - I posted a comment awhile back about government-run schools and how ineffective they have become. We now live in a Godless society. He is no longer present in the public forum, the business sector, the farming community, our governments, and public schools. Soooo, that means He is no longer in our homes either. The agendas of those who hate the Lord have pretty much been carried out and Satan has gotten his way. What we have now is education without the acknowledgement of a higher authority or a sense of divine purpose. In other words, we have created a nation of knowledgable barbarians.
The home is where everything is taught and caught. When the home fails, then so does our educational system and our society. Welcome to the place called "there." We started on this journey back in the late 60's and unless we are prepared to take personal responsibility for our own behaviors and the health and well-being of our homes we cannot fix ourselves, or our educational system.
Isn't it amazing how money is the answer to everything that's wrong? Money has never solved anything and usually makes everything worse, and that includes quality of the teaching in the classrooms. There are teachers who are grossly immoral, cannot spell, use bad language, take off days as much as possible, and who are basically incompetent. And yet, because of unions, tenure, and other safety mechanisms that insure continuance, the status quo continues. The reason it continues is because in most states the money continues to flow even if your children are being homeschooled or privately educated. At the point of property confiscation, you continue to pay school taxes whether you're getting your money's worth or not.
Accountability and integrity is no longer necessary because where there are assurances of employment, there's no need to answer to anyone. We are a contaminated nation - with corruption, rebellion, irresponsibility, and politicians.
Get your children out of those schools, do everything you can to keep them out of daycare, and protect them! Help them to be disciplined learners, seekers of truth, and embracers of absolutes. Teach them to serve and to make a difference.
