20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana | Just looking for some idea besides sleeping pills. Dr has given me 2 different prescriptions in the past and they work but I feel groggy in the mornings. And I hate to take too many pharma pills. I take them about once a week if I can’t sleep 2 or 3 nights in a row. My brain just doesn’t stop. Seem to always have something on my mind that keeps me up. Good and bad stuff. My wife takes some magnesium drink before bed and says it helps. I’ve tried it and can’t say it helped me.
I’m not a big alcohol drinker so alcohol doesn’t interest me as a sleeping aid like some suggest. Not interested in the pot/CBD stuff either. Back when i worked night shifts every other week I’d have to take prescription sleep aids or I’d get a hour or two of sleep trying to sleep during the day. I haven’t worked nights for about 3.5 years. But I still don’t sleep the best.
