| Been there. I was divorced 15 years ago and my only son stayed mostly with his mom in town . This was during his teenage years and I saw little of him. It all turned around when he was a senior in high school as he came out to the farm more and more. He signed up with the Army and spent a year in Iraq, came home and got a degree in Animal Ag. Today, we spent the whole day finishing building a parade wagon for his wedding party to ride in next Saturday Aug 21. I enjoyed every second of it. Moral to the story: you NEVER know what the future may bring to you . Great things that you could never imagine might be in store for you..........Your job is to provide the best example of YOU, no booze, drugs, etc. Stay in good physical AND mental shape as you now have lots of time to work on that. (important). A lot of people gave great advice, just my 2c...........................................And how my son found such a wonderful girl, I'll never know, but I'm soo glad he did. good nite all | |
