Probably somewhat irrelevant here but as a child of divorced parents (I was 12), don't roll over and play dead with your kids...no matter if you're not on the same page. My mom tried like crazy to distance us, moved us 2/3's the way across country and the whole 9. While it didn't seem significant then, all that my dad did then makes sense now and I'm grateful for everything to this day.
Just be a good dad, be there and don't get into pissing matches and games of one ups manships with your ex...keep it civil and 5-10 years from now they'll say...thanks.
