As you already have the financial aspect resolved in building your new grain storage and there is or will be no detriment to YOU for going ahead and building the storage/handling,,,

go ahead and build your storage/handling facility.   $40 Grand is alot to lose to not build and get out of a contract. 

The other issue is you have already suffered enough "loss" already, thou it does not seem so, you are in a "temporary situation" and you will get through this period of your life.  When that happens you really don't want to also have regrets for giving up building your new Grain facility simply for emotional reasons.

Quit "spying", "snooping",   or whatever you alluded to doing.  That "need" you feel is just about the same as feeling the "need"  to keep torturing yourself. (which is exactly what that "need" is doing,, more torture)   It's anti-productive.

Concentrate on the Productive, positive !!
