It is working right now. My daughter and her husband each have an electric car. They plug in to 120 volt outlets in the garage. 9 hours charge gives them 50 miles driving. That is enough to go to work, Kids to school, piano lessons, church things, groceries, normal family stuff. The cars operate for about 4 cents per mile.

Jon Kinzebaw was here at Ames one day talking. He said "I sure am glad I never listened to guys that said you can't do that, it will never work".
