Growing up the only source of information we had was derived from a set of encyclopedias the parents ought when we were 8.

Now I can send files across the world driving a gps controlled tractor in the middle of a field.

The world will look different in another 40 years. Batteries probably won’t be lithium, my guess is homes will have whole house batteries good enough to run your house for a week. Some cheap but large battery sitting outside made of plastics, salt, metal or some other cheap material.

Times change, it’s ok.
