Statesville, NC
It's working for me too. I have a 30 Amp 240v charger, and I can drive 200 to 250 miles on a charge. I never charge away from home, and it covers over 90% of my needs. I'm between 3 and 4 cents per mile. I never charge on the road. Charging at home is what makes ev's efficient. They are NOT for everyone or every application. I don't believe we need government mandates for them. The people will figure out if it will work for them. A lot of people are buying ev's and not doing their research. I think the biggest issue at this time, is apartment dwellers not having level 2 changing because of parking proximity to their apartment.
