If it's whataboutism maybe the ending of the oil pct and the, tax credit for marginal production wells, along with the depletion allowance tax credit should be looked at.

OBTW with or without tax credits solar and wind are both cheaper the coal or natural gas and coal but just like big oil at the start of ethanol the existing electric producers are fighting to keep everybody else out of the distribution system. So let's get a mandated use system in for renewable energy and it's all good.

Check out the new 1km tall wind towers and their effececies. Couple that with the break throughs at Stanford university engineers and they have developed a process that allows solar panels to create energy at night.

That innovation thingy, ain't it grand looks like we just might not make it all the way back to those horse and buggy days you long for.
