I wish ethanol had been mandated 20 years ago nationwide. Back then it could have been spun off as national security by being less reliant on foreign oil. I think then we might of avoided the food for fuel debate. And also, everyone one would have had to use it. You would be surprised how many farmers still won’t use ethanol. It is a problem for promoting more use of ethanol when the ones benefiting from ethanol production, farmers, won’t use it.
I know, I know, here I am forcing ethanol on everyone but wanting EVs to be voluntary.
